Importance of Chemical Storage.

Chemical storage is vital in the workplace. If you are looking to store products that can caused harm to someone they should be stored correctly. People often think that chemicals can be placed in a normal cabinet and forgotten about. This is generally not the case in the workplace. Having a designated area to comply with Coshh regulations is also vital in the workplace and again is often over looked by many.

Chemcial Cabinets

As chemical storage is over looked many think that it difficult to understand and goes unsolved. That’s why we are here. We will always do our best to help in any way we can. Simply get in touch with our team and they will always advise.

Chemical storage provides more than a space to store chemicals. It gives you an area that is designated to chemicals. This means that you will then comply to some points of the coshh regulations. This is any employer’s duty to do so and by law must be adhered too. If you do not and a health and safety officer come to visit, they will request that you get one.

Chemical storage can be made easy. All our cabinets are fitted with integral sumps which allows any spilt liquids to pass into the sump. The sump cannot be removed and is fully welded in to stop anyone from reaching the chemicals. If they were able to this could then potentially cause some harm to the employee.

All our chemical cabinets are also supplied with 4 chemical identification stickers which means that the customer can choose which one is acceptable to them. This is a unique feature to us and is something that customers find very beneficial.
