Hazardous cupboards – do they need to be installed.

Hazardous cupboards can be large depending on which cupboard you purchase. If it is one of the slightly smaller hazardous cupboards then installing them can be very easy as they are relatively light weight so this shouldn’t be an issue. If, however you require/order one of the larger cupboards then these can be a lot heavier and harder to manure around.

All our deliveries take place via the pallet network meaning that 9 time out of 10 your hazardous cupboard will turn up on a pallet. This said they are easy to dispose of and the driver, if they have the space will sometimes take them off you. All our deliveries are kerbside only so please take this into consideration when purchasing. This is however industry standard for our product and you will find that all hazardous cupboard suppliers do the same. (we did our research).

If this is an issue or you order next day delivery at the upgraded value of £40.00 then this will be delivered slightly different. The hazardous cupboard will come lose and won’t be on a pallet. This is purely because of space on the wagons and the fact that there is no real need. The hazardous cupboard will be packaged appropriately, and the transport company will not be able to take this back with them so please bare this in mind.

As some of these cabinets can be very heavy, especially if you have ordered a security cupboard then we suggest that you handle them with two people for safety. The last thing we want is someone getting hurt whilst moving a cabinet to the desired location.

It is not vital that our hazardous cupboards are attached to anything as they are strong enough and durable enough to stand freely without any issues. Having said that, it wouldn’t hurt to barren the hazardous cupboard to the wall or nest a couple together. Like I said this isn’t needed but it always adds an extra layer of protection if you will.

Going back to the question – do they need to be install? The answer is no. Not in the way of a fitter and someone coming out to help you. This is possible if you have large quantities and don’t have the man power to move them all. We can offer an install team.
