What is Coshh?

Coshh is the law that requires employers to control substances that are hazardous to health. Hazardous substances can take many forms such as chemicals, fumes, dusts, vapour, gases, biological agents and nanotechnology. Please note; Coshh doesn’t include lead, asbestos or radioactive substances and these materials have their own specific regulations.

There are many ways to deal with hazardous substances however a Coshh cabinet is the best way to store them. All our Coshh cabinets are manufactured here in the Uk and are made from British steel. By us having the ability to follow each of the steps it means that we can have the highest possible quality control which always leaves our cabinets of the highest possible quality. Not only does it leave you with a cabinet you are happy with. It also leaves you with a 100% safe storage solution for storing hazardous substances.

Coshh cabinets are grey and yellow really. Grey is the go too colour however our yellow hazardous cupboards can also be used as a Coshh cabinet. The sticker is the part that is important, and we send all the variations out with the all types of cabinets. This allows you to choose what you would like to store in the cabinets and where you deem best to fit the stickers.

All the Coshh cabinets are made to order and will take around 10 working days to get to you. We do offer a much quicker delivery option on the yellow hazardous cupboards as these are in stock and can be delivered within 5 working days. We also have an option for a next working day delivery. The 5-day delivery option is free of charge and will not cost you anything. Our next day delivery service will cost you a small amount extra. With this being said, if you have a large order to place then we can most likely send this out on a next day delivery option free of charge. Please get in contact with our sales department. This will depend on our stock levels.
